My parents just got a brand new set of dark brown leather furniture and this morning she walked into her livingroom and saw that one of my sisters cats had tried to jump up onto the couch and left puncture holes and some scratches from her claws in the leather.
What is the best way to repair or disguise these scratches and holes in my parents leather couch?

My boyfriend, against my better judgement, foolishly used a scouring pad to remove an adhesive patch on my coffee table. His technique worked, but in the process, he damaged the faux mahogany finish, leaving an unsightly faded grey patch in the same area. Is there an easy way to fix this without stripping, restaining and resealing the entire table?

I just purchased a 45-year-old home and the previous owners installed carpet over the hardwood floors. They ripped it up before selling it to us and the carpet pad left residue in high traffic areas. It looks like the floors have stains in some of those high-traffic areas as well. Does anyone have any suggestions as to the best way of cleaning this? We don't have much time to do extensive work on the floors before moving in because we also have to paint all the interior walls. Any suggestions?
